Artist's Description
My favorite time of day, when the sun is going down, and the lights are coming on. The magic hour. Carlos Castaneda called it "the crack between worlds". This is the pool of a very special friend of mine in Los Angeles. This painting, entitled "Twilight" hangs in Mia's apartment in the Academy Award winning movie "La La Land", and is now featured on the set of the TV show "The Big Bang Theory".
About Linda Queally
I am a Water Artist, a Light Worker, and a Believer in the Magic of Love. My paintings depict Water Spirits... Mermaids, Mermen, Gods, Goddesses, Spirit Guides, Protectors and Swimmers. I work in acrylic and fine art paper on Ampersand Claybord, with my direction coming from dreams and meditation. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, and then moved to Los Angeles, where I studied at the Otis Art Institute. Although I've traveled both nationally and internationally, what makes me the most proud is to call Los Angeles home for over thirty six years.
