Artist's Description
"Caballito de Mar Amor" is inspired by the time I've spent recently by the sea in Mexico, by the name for tiny seahorses in Spanish (which I adore), and by a beautiful display of Virgen de Guadalupe heads that I saw at the Museo de Historia Mexicana in Monterrey, Mexico. She is the eighteenth piece in my Mermaid series, and my first piece for 2022!
About Linda Queally
I am a Water Artist, a Light Worker, and a Believer in the Magic of Love. My paintings depict Water Spirits... Mermaids, Mermen, Gods, Goddesses, Spirit Guides, Protectors and Swimmers. I work in acrylic and fine art paper on Ampersand Claybord, with my direction coming from dreams and meditation. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, and then moved to Los Angeles, where I studied at the Otis Art Institute. Although I've traveled both nationally and internationally, what makes me the most proud is to call Los Angeles home for over thirty six years.
